A lot of three socket bayonets
Comprising: 1) British Land Pattern bayonet, 12 inch triangular blade marked Hawes, socket fitted with locking spring. 2) Unmarked 18th century example, probably German or Dutch, 12 inch double edged blade of hexagonal section and supported on the shank by an oval panel; 2 1/2 inch open socket for a musket of sizable bore. 3) An American bayonet for the 1863 rifle-musket; 17 inch blade marked US/J.
Condition: 1), 2) Dark grey patina showing areas of light pitting. 3) Some minor pitting.
