A lot of two inscribed U.S. Model 1902 sabers for all officers
Comprising: 1) Example retailed by William Read & Sons of Boston, Massachusetts; 32 inch blade with 20 inch panel etched with conventional motifs and with inscription 3rd Lieut. Lawrance/W. Cluff/Co. C. May 27th, 1909; nickeled hilt and scabbard of standard pattern; horn grip. 2) Retailed by Colby's Clothing House of Taunton, Massachusetts; 31 3/4 inch blade with 20 inch etched panel with inscription L'Union Canadienne/Garde d'Honneur; nickeled hilt and scabbard of standard pattern; horn grip.
Condition: 1) Excellent blade; hilt and scabbard with frosting and pinpoint spotting; scabbard with wear around suspension rings. 2) Excellent blade showing light marks below point; hilt and scabbard with light marks and some minor bubbling.
