A lot of two U.S. Model 1902 sabers for all officers
Comprising: 1) Slightly curved 31 inch blade with crisp 18 inch etched panel; the ricasso marked The M.C. Lilley/& Co./Columbus, O., the reverse stamped JRONCUTTER; Nickeled hilt of standard pattern, the rare ivory grips with stained finish and incised florals reserved in white, one side with oak branch, the other with laurel; nickeled two-ring scabbard. 2) Inscribed example, slightly curved 34 inch blade with 20 inch panel etched with conventional motifs and inscribed Captain A.M. Lander; nickeled hilt and scabbard or standard pattern; bakelite grip; brown leather sword knot.
Condition: 1) Blade excellent, hilt and scabbard with some frosting and minor spotting to nickel. 2) Blade excellent, hilt and scabbard showing some small areas of bubbling.
