19th and 20th century
Comprising: 1) Danish Model 1889 knife bayonet, 9 inch blade with RKV/KOBHVA on ricasso, wooden gripscales, leather scabbard with iron mounts. 2) WWII era German Model 1884/98 knife bayonet; blued 9 inch blade with 41clc (Richard Abr. Herder) manufacturing code, hilt with ersatz gripscales, iron scabbard marked to blade. 3) Swedish Model 1896, 8 1/4 inch blade with standard markings and numbered 365, steel hilt and scabbard numbered to each other. 4) French 1874 Epee bayonet, 20 1/2 inch blade marked for St. Etienne arsenal and dated 1878; hilt and scabbard of standard pattern but not numbered to each other. 5) French Model 1886/15, 20 inch blade of cross-shaped section; hilt and scabbard of standard pattern and not numbered to each other. 6) Large socket sword bayonet similar to the British Pattern 1843 Sappers and Miners, 23 inch blade with broad, shallow fuller; 4 inch socket; incorrect iron scabbard.
Condition: 1) Blade with slight corrosion at base, hilt and scabbard mounts with spotting overall. 2) Excellent blade retaining most blued finish, hilt and scabbard with dark patina and spotting overall. 3) Blade with light spotting; hilt and scabbard with dark patina and spotting overall. 4) Blade with areas of staining; hilt and scabbard with scattered marks and dark patina. 5) Blade clean, hilt and scabbard with dark patina. 6) Dark brown patina showing areas of light pitting and wear to markings.
