A George V Pattern 1897 infantry officer's sword
Straight 32 inch blade with 19 inch panel etched with scrollwork and featuring Royal crown and cipher on one side and crown and coat-of-arms on the other; no maker's markings, ricasso with brass Proved medallion, the spine numbered 4281. Plated hilt of standard pattern; grey shagreen and silver and brass wire-wrapped grip. Leather-covered service scabbard retaining frog and suspension straps.
Condition: Excellent.
