A British child's sword in the form of a mameluke-hilted saber
19th century
Slightly curved 22 inch blade of diamond section above the broad, shallow fuller. Silver-plated brass mameluke style hilt, the guard engraved with fine scrollwork. Elephant ivory gripscales. Brass two-ring scabbard.
Condition: Bright blade showing some very minor spotting. Hilt retains 60-70% silver plating. Scabbard with one deep dent above drag.
