A French Model 1831 foot artillery sword
The 19 1/4 inch double edged blade with maker's mark Talbaton/Paris and inspection stamp H above the hilt. Brass hilt of standard pattern, marked 826 on one side of the guard and with inspection marks on the reverse.
Condition: Blade showing areas of spotting/minor pitting and some wear to markings.
