A lot of three eastern daggers
19th and early 20th century
Comprising: 1) Persian jambiya; broad 10 1/2 inch curved blade etched and engraved, one side with scene of elephant combat, the reverse with personages; steel grip chased with florals and stiff leaf bands. 2) Another; 10 3/4 inch blade of diamond section, the base retaining traces of silver koftgari decoration; steel hilt decorated in silver koftgari with floral panels within dentate borders. 3) Levantine example, 20th century; curved 8 3/4 inch blade with simple gold overlaid decoration; steel hilt and scabbard decorated with silver overlaid scrollwork and geometrics.
Condition: 1) Sowing some wear to decoration. 2) Some losses to silver decoration on hilt. 3) Good.
