A lot of two Moro keris
Philippines, late 19th/early 20th century
Including: 1) 21 3/4 inch ten wave blade, fine burlwood "cockatoo" pommel, plaited handle wrap, pieced wood scabbard with beaded fiber and trade cloth wraps; 2) 16 3/4 inch four wave blade, the hilt with plaited fiber wrap, walrus ivory pommel, scabbard bound with horn straps and leather frog.
Condition: 1) Fine blade, light pitting and few tiny chips along edges. Scabbard with loose elements and minor losses. 2) Blade with light pitting. Scabbard with light wear, frog with later twine reinforcement, one horn band lacking.
