A group of Bronze and Iron Age weapons
circa 1500-500 B.C.
Comprising: 1) Slender bronze spearhead, 12 inch blade of hollow diamond section with rounded shoulders, the narrow 3 1/4 inch tang with curled tip. 2) Another of similar form with 10 1/2 inch blade. 3) An iron spearpoint with 9 1/4 inch leaf-shaped blade showing slight median ridge above a 4 1/2 inch conical socket, the lower edge pierced with two holes. 4) Two socketed Bronze Age items, probably spear butts.
Condition: 1) Some minor chipping. 2) Considerable chipping and losses at point. 3) Considerable corrosion. 4) Both with fine patina, some chipping and losses at socket end.
