A lot of two Persian Bronze Age daggers
circa 1200-800 B.C.
Comprising: 1) Straight 12 inch blade of hollow diamond section with rounded central rib; flanged grip of familiar form with slightly domed pommel. 2) 10 inch double edged blade with median ridge and rounded base; flanged grip, one side with inset panel to retain gripscales but missing on the other side, the grip molded with two horned projections extending over the base of the blade.
Condition: 1) With some losses at edges, the blade with heavy green patination showing some patches of polished bronze. 2) Hilt flanges and one edge of blade with losses.
