Samuel (Kamuela) Parker, Hawaii
Known as Kamuela Parker or sometimes Samuel Keaoililani Parker (1853–1920), Parker was a major landowner and businessman on the island of Hawaii, heir to the Parker Ranch estate. He became involved in politics at a critical time of the Kingdom of Hawaii, serving in its last cabinet.

A finely hand-carved, probably kou, bowl with tall, thin sides, no repairs and rich, dark brown patina on interior and rich varied honey-brown exterior patina.
