Kangxi period
Each molded with a flared rim to the wide curving well and raised on a wedged foot pad: one dish displaying a red and green bodied bird facing to the right on a persimmon branch intertwined with prunus and bamboo with further bamboo stalks painted in iron red monochrome to the exterior walls; the second dish displaying a tiny butterfly and black and green-bodied bird facing to the left on a flowering branch reversed by bamboo stalks painted in black outline and green enamel.
