A fine pair of Queen Anne parcel gilt walnut etched pier mirrors
early 18th century

Each with an arched divided plate, the upper plate engraved with elegant stylized foliate vines beneath a ducal coronet within a gilt leaf tip band and burl frame.

These mirrors and the following lot, a pair of George III games tables were purchased by the renowned designer Frances Elkins for the interior of a San Francisco residence. The mirrors were placed above the games tables in the entrance hall of that residence.
