De László painted several members of the sitter's family, including her sister-in-law, Miss Jeannie Williams Pratt, in 1928 and again in 1929, and also her son and daughter-in-law; all portraits remain in private family collections.
In 1882 Miss Melissa Dodge Pratt married Robert Livingston Fryer (1847-1915). Her husband was the son of William Fryer and his wife, Margaret Livingston. He became a banker in Buffalo City. They had three children, Pascal Pratt, Livingston and Margareta, who married Philip G. Wickster.
