A bronze bombe form tripod censer
Xuande Mark, 18th/19th century
Sturdily cast, the mouth rim surmounted by opposing out-swept handles above a slightly waisted neck and compressed globular body, all supported by three simply rendered conical feet to the underside bearing an impressed sixteen-character mark with an honorific Ming Xuande fifth year date (1431).
