  • Provenance: The D.M. Wood Collection. A similar 'domino' pattern is found in saltglazed stoneware. The design has been found on wasters excavated from Thomas Whieldon's Fenton Vivian site but was also produced by other factories. An example from the Sampson and Horne Collection was sold in our New Bond Street rooms 28 April 2010, lot 354
