Attributed to the Rossetti factory in Turin, painted with a figural group, flower sprays and an inscription 'Hosp. Mai. Char. Civ.Nov', above the drug label, 18cm high

  • The inscription on this jar is abbreviated from the full name 'Hospitalis Maioris Charitatis Cicitatis Novariae' and this means it was made for the Ospedale Maggiore della Carita at Novara.
