1932 LONG BEACH BILLET WITH SIGNATURES OF OLYMPIANS
OLYMPICS—ROWING, 1932.
A souvenir program from the Xth Olympiad held in Los Angeles, California, 1932, 4to, original illustrated wrappers, signed by several dozen rowers participating in the games.

The program was created as a showcase for the neighboring city of Long Beach, site of Marine Stadium, which hosted the rowing events for the games. The signatures represent members of the rowing teams of numerous nations, and include EUGENE "BUD" CLARK, FRANCIS ENGLISH, and CHARLES KIEFFER, of the United States; FRITZ BAUER, GERHARD VON DUSTERLHO, and WALTER FLINSCH of the German rowing team; EDWARD KOBLINSKI and JERZY SKOLIMOWSKI of Poland; and members of the Italian, Japanese, New Zealand, and British rowing teams. Several rowers have signed the program more than once. The United States, Germany, and Great Britain each took gold in rowing events during the games.
