4to. Illustrated with 20 etched plates by Foujita, plus an additional suite of 20 plates on Japanese vellum. Original salmon-colored cloth stamped in silver. Plates approximately 260 x 200 mm on 310 x 235 mm sheets (or the reverse). Heavy dampstaining to cloth at spine extending to covers and affecting margins of five or six illustrations outside of the plate marks and causing some wrinkling at gutters, discoloration from cloth to edges of four of the loose plates also outside of plate marks, slight toning and faint wrinkling to loose plates, crease to corner of signed plate, front hinge cracked.

LIMITED EDITION, WITH THE EXTRA SUITE OF PLATES, no 487 of 500 copies, signed by Foujita on the limitation page and on one of the loose plates (in the present copy, Messalina).
