Minor toning in first volume, closed tears to plates 1 & 16, small inkstain to plate 2. Bindings rubbed with corners showing and spines dry, old manuscript label removed from vol 1 upper cover, overall extremely good and unsophisticated.
FIRST AND ONLY EDITION of this spectacular rococo work on calligraphy, typography, general ornamentation and drawing-room science and craft.
