2 parts in one volume. Folio (365 x 230 mm). Letterpress titles and 100 engraved plates. Period vellum. Inkstamp removed from title, plates mounted on stubs, plate 2 with 1¼-inch square section of margin restored touching neatline, 2 or 3 plates with dampstain at edge.
Giardini was the leading silversmith in Rome under the pontificate of Clement XI (r.1700-1721). The first part of the present volume concerns ecclesiastic objects (chalices, censers, candlesticks, and the like), while the second part is more secular (tables, vases, two clocks, centerpieces, globes, candelabras, etc.).
