The Botanical Cabinet Consisting of Coloured Delineations of Plants from all Countries. London: J. & A. Arch, 1818.
Volumes 1-3 (of 20). 4to (205 x 160 mm). Engraved titles, hand-colored engraved plates (some of which are also printed in color). Near-period half calf by J. Jackson. Titled lightly foxed, but otherwise internally fine, bindings heavily rubbed.

LARGE-PAPER ISSUE WITH THE PLATES FULLY COLORED. The Dutch-born Loddiges, settled in Hackney as a nurseryman in about 1761. He and his sons introduced many new and exotic species to Britain, with much of their stock being plants from the United States.
