Period mottled calf, spine gilt in compartments. Gap in pagination (71-76) but with no apparent loss of text, binding slightly dry, edges rubbed, joints started, spine label lacking.
Provenance: Charles Kemeys Kemeys Tynte [1778-1860] (armorial bookplate).
Very attractive and thorough manuscript account with meticulous drawings and plans. The subtitle explains that the text is partly a translation of the Italian of [Pompeo] Sarnelli and partly from the author's own observations made between the years of 1751 and 1757.
