A German parcel-gilt and acid-etched silver beaker
by Marx Burmeister, Nuremburg, circa 1631-1657
Cylindrical, decorated with three medallions depicting the infant Christ interspersed with trailing foliate clasps, inscriptions in Latin and High German, with relief inscription to underside, raised on a foot, weight approximately 3.5 oz troy.
