Of compressed ovoid shape with a wide sloping shoulder decorated in hirazogan with butterflies in inlay of gold, copper, bronze and shakudo on a shakudo ground, the underside with mixed metal lozenges reserved on a shibuichi ground and tapering supports accented with shakudo leafy bamboo stalks, the reticulated lid with silver-outlined petals centering a silver chrysanthemum bud finial, with the studio mark on the base
