Decorated in underglaze blue, polychrome enamels and gilt with three large and numerous smaller figural roundels featuring various festivities, entertainers, children, mythical shojo and figures in a spring landscape, all reserved on a ground of gilt-accented cobalt blue blossoms amid scrolling tendrils stopping short of the waisted neck defined by a linked foliate-patterned band below a wide everted rim with further floral reserves on a blue ground
