Each of square section with the sides decorated in underglaze blue, polychrome enamels and gilt over a clear glaze with mirror images of fan-shaped figural and floral reserves scattered over a ground of fruiting vines and chrysanthemum, the high rounded shoulder with alternating dragon and phoenix medallions on a foliate kinrande ground, and the tall waisted neck encircled by a stiff leaf band
