Designed with a hawk standing by a rocky ledge beneath a tree watching as a sparrow takes flight above, all rendered in two shades of gold, silver and red hiramakie and hirame against a roiro nuri ground, the interiors nashiji; fitted with a cylindrical copper ojime decorated with flowers in circular roundels and a guri-style lacquer gourd netsuke decorated with blossoming autumn plants in gold and silver hiramakie, signed Yoyusai

With a wood storage box inscribed on the cover Taka makie goinro Yoyusai saku
