Shikishiban; the first illustrating an episode from the Shaseki-shu (Collection of Stone and Sand), from the series Honchoren honcho nijuko (Twenty-four Japanese Paragons of Filial Piety for the Honcho circle), ca. 1821-22, signed Gakutei, sealed Sadaoka; the second depicting the hero from the Sagoromo monogatari playing a flute, signed Gakutei - very good impressions, good color, first with minor soiling, wrinkles and upper corners tacked to the mat, second trimmed, backed and upper corners tacked to the mat
