Washington, DC, The Bullion Bank $3 July 4, 1862 PMG 62 PPQ
This bank failed several months later in 1862, and it is unlikely that any of these notes actually circulated. The statement on this note declares, "Will pay on demand Three dollars in United States Treasury Notes when Five dollars are presented." An uneven bottom margin is probably the grade-limiting factor.
