Included are: 1939 Lincoln cent, handsome cherry-red color is accented with hazy, opaque patina at the borders on both sides; 1939 Jefferson nickel, mottled silver-gray patina; 1939 Mercury dime, mottled silver-golden color, particularly on the obverse; 1939 Washington quarter, mottled silver-golden iridescence; and a 1939 Walking Liberty half dollar, similar in appearance to the quarter and dime. A well balanced, fully original proof set, one of only 8,795 produced.
