A Tibetan gilt copper alloy figure of Vajradhara
17th/18th century
The figure attired in elaborately bejeweled raiment and diadem above a face and neck highlighted in 'cold gold,' seated in dhyanasana posture, the hands held in vajrahumkaramudra clutching tendrils of vines attached to his identifying implements of vajra and ghanta suspended at his right and left shoulder respectively, all supported by a waisted lotus plinth that has been resealed with a visvajra plate.
