An Avalokiteshvara mandala thangka

Color on sized cloth, now unmounted; the seated eleven-headed and thousand armed Avalokiteshvara depicted in the center of a large circular mandala surrounded by other celestial attendants and the Guardians of the Four Directions alternating with the Eight Buddhist symbols and inscribed lotus petal reserves forming a circle within a square, the mandala in turn surrounded by other deities and lamas floating amid a fantastic mountainous landscape setting (wear).
