A two-section cast bronze lotus-form base
Of Ming period type, featuring a hemispherical lotus flower wit overlapping petal, inset lip and hollow body that fits into an upright stem surrounded by a dragon that rises from a hexagonal galleried base with scalloped aprons between the corner feet, a layer of gilt and red lacquer now coating much of the exterior surfaces (lacking original image, old wear).
