The ivory silk ground displaying 'One Hundred Birds Admiring the Phoenix,' with the mythical birds standing to the lower left on flowering branches surrounded by a variety of birds all rendered in extremely fine satin stitch; the panel set within a reticulated hardwood frame inlaid with mother-of-pearl forming auspicious plants and emblems (losses to frame).
