A fine and large cloisonné enameled metal vase
17th/18th century
Constructed in sections with a large trumpet neck attached to a body of inverted pear form supported on a bowl-shaped foot, the interior neck and exterior surfaces displaying composite lotus flowers on leafy stalks outlined in gilt wires and inlaid in richly hued enamels against the turquoise ground, the applied openwork flanges and other exposed edges finished in gilt (minor losses to enamels, wear).
