A white jade circular cup and covered box
The two fitted halves of the box displaying slightly everted mouth rims closing to form a box of compressed globular section surmounted by a flowering peony branch incised in raised relief centering a slightly raised roundel and supported by a raised foot rim encircling a stylized floral bloom incised in the stone, the matrix with mottled icy inclusions; together with a small thinly sectioned cup supported by a simple foot rim now screwed to a later gilt metal base, of slightly grayish hue with cloudy inclusions.
