A group of three agate snuff bottles
The first of flattened oval form with a flat rim to the circular neck, oval foot pad and a well-hollowed body carved in delicate raised relief with a cloud scroll and a millet stalk utilizing russet patches in the translucent oatmeal colored matrix; the second of rounded rectangular form with a flat rim to the cylindrical neck and a recessed oval base, the mottled caramel-colored matrix carved in delicate raised relief with bamboo reversing a pine tree (tiny chips); the third of rectangular form with flat rim to the cylindrical neck, rounded shoulder and tapering inward toward the oval recessed base, the mottled caramel and off-white matrix carved in high relief with a monkey, horse and wasp reversed by a peach-filled basket (chips to rim).
