A group of three hardstone snuff bottles
The first, 1780-1850, of red hair crystal in a rounded rectangular shape with wide flat mouth to the cylindrical neck and resting on an oval foot (foot pad polished); the second, 1800-1880, in cloudy rock crystal, carved with a flat rim to the cylindrical neck, bamboo plants reversing an orchid and butterfly on the opposing walls of the flattened baluster-form body raised on an oval foot (foot damaged); the third of translucent agate cut in the Indian style with waisted neck, cloud collar and pendant band to the rounded shoulder, raised ribs and a lotus petal band on the elongated oval body raised on a circular foot.
