A carved jade snuff bottle
Of compressed globular form with a wide, flat rim, convex foot encircled by a rectangular footrim, one side carved in relief depicting a scholar standing on a mountain-surrounded riverbank watching two swimming ducks, the shoulders of the bottle flanked by two faux mask-and-ring handles, the white stone of very faint celadon hue displaying cloud-white inclusions and a small patch of very pale olive-green color; stopper.
