Two carved snuff bottles
The first of mottled white and orange coral with a cylindrical neck, body of irregular oval section retaining some of the natural depressions in the matrix and carved with a butterfly amid peony blossoms in bloom above the oval foot pad; the second of mottled dark brown amber shaped as a flattened double gourd raised on an oval foot, its walls surrounded in raised relief with leafy stems and gourds of smaller size, the recessed base of irregular oval shape (natural hairline fissures).
