A group of three hardstone snuff bottles
The first of translucent pale green beryl with a flat rim, cylindrical neck and body of flattened spade shape resting on the backs of two young boys, the base of the bottle also recessed; the second of cloudy quartz with a flat rim to the cylindrical neck, rounded shoulder and hexagonal-sectioned body with conforming foot, the facets carved with flowering plants, three of which retain some of the crystal's pale brown skin (chipped); the third of cloudy quartz with a flat rim to the cylindrical neck, the flattened globular body resting on an oval foot ring and the opposing walls carved in relief with two butterflies surrounding a xi-character (chipped).
