A pair of aubergine ground porcelain vases with famille verte decoration
Kangxi marks, Late Qing/Republic period
Each formed with a circular-sectioned trumpet neck rising from a square-sectioned shoulder, the four flat sides painted with flowering branches and rocks in bright enamels against an aubergine enamel ground, the recessed base bearing the six-character mark in underglaze blue.
