A green and yellow glazed dragon dish
Kangxi mark, 19th century
The surfaces glazed in a ground of mottled pine green, the well of the interior centered by a five-clawed dragon amid stylized flames eying a flaming pearl all in pale canary yellow encircled by two additional similarly rendered dragons vying for two further pearls on the cavetto, the exterior walls of similar decoration; all supported by a raised foot encircling the clear glazed base bearing the six-character mark in standard script in cobalt blue (hairline cracks, chips, kiln sand).
