Late Qing/Republic period
Its thickly molded walls canted inward and raised on set-in corner feet, the exterior walls displaying birds and butterflies hovering near or upon opposing branches of wisteria and peony in bloom painted in opaque and translucent enamels on a turquoise enamel ground (chipped, lacking drainage saucer).
