A mille fleurs enameled porcelain vase
Late Qing/Republic period
Heavily potted, the interior of the beaker shaped vessel thinly enameled in turquoise and terminating in an outwardly rolled floriform mouth rim, the exterior covered in a dense ground of floral blooms and a molded in raised relief trompe-l'oeil orange and gilt ribbon tied around the midpoint of the waisted sides, the flared base supported by a raised and deeply inset foot rim and covered by a lotus petal band surrounding the turquoise recessed base bearing the four-character mark in blue standard script.
