A pair of fahua glazed pottery architectural fragments of Daoist divinities
The first dressed in an official's crown and robes, carrying a rank tablet as he sits between a book and a seal box supported on a hollowed rock backing; the second possibly depicting Shen Nong with twin horns rising from his bearded head, a mugwort cape across his shoulders and a sheaf of grain in his hands, similarly posed between a covered jar and unknown attribute; both supported on square base with deeply undercut corner feet, the surfaces covered in deep purple, turquoise, yellow and colorless enamels (losses, repairs, retouched).
