Two porcelain vessels
Qing dynasty
Including a brush washer of compressed circular form, the exterior walls applied with a thick maroon layer visible beneath a colorless glaze also covering the interior and the recessed base (kiln sand, bruises to glaze); and an ovoid blue and white bottle vase with molded lobes to the sides, each of which centered by a blooming potted plant, the glazed and recessed base unmarked; the neck possibly cut down and then later mounted with a fitted silver top of European or Middle Eastern origin.
