Comprising a group of scrimshaw including figural stand composed of three mermaids, height 4in; dog seated on a caned chair with hinged seat cover, height 2 3/8in; letter opener; acorn form tape measure; folding comb; pocket folding ruler with inset T-square; small rectangular box, length 2 1/2in; half shell carved with portrait of Theodore Roosevelt (1858-1919), greatest length 7in; gilt metal and mother-of-pearl veneered oval box, length 3in; desk knife, length 4 1/2in and the painted plaque depicting St. Michael and the Devil within a giltwood frame, overall dimensions 8 1/4 x 9 1/2in.
